Grow music & the Cardiff Youth classical Music Festival
Founded by a collective of professional musicians, Grow Music exists to create performance and educational opportunities for young people in Wales. We believe in fostering creativity, confidence, and excellence by providing expert training, vibrant performance opportunities, and accessible programmes tailored to young learners.
Opening in Summer 2026 is our brand new competition - the Cardiff Youth Music Festival.
Taking place from 10th-12th July 2026 in St Edward's Church, Roath. Come and perform with instrumentalists and singers from across the region.
Meet new friends, hear fantastic performances and get an adjudication from an experienced professional performer. This year we are delighted to welcome Dr Kitty Cheung to adjudicate. Kitty is currently sub-principal second violin in the orchestra of Welsh National Opera.
Classes are available in every instrument for every stage of learning and for all ages, including adult amateur musicians and music students studying at university or conservatoire. We also have a chamber music class for small group ensembles.
Applications are welcomed from musicians from any location to come and experience a big Welsh musical welcome in Cardiff.
